THE RENOVATION COMPANY was invited by the DIY NETWORK to be the General Contractor on this master bathroom renovation in Park Ridge, New Jersey.

Radiant floor heat being installed by The Renovation Company.  Floor leveling material was subsequently poured over the heating elements to create a suitable, level substrate for the 12x24 inch floor tile.

Completed renovation shows a custom walk-in shower with a seat integrated with the jetted tub platform.  Frameless tempered glass surrounds the shower enclosure. Cedar planks on the ceiling and wallpaper complete this spa-like look.

 

Shower wall close-up reveals a glass tile waterfall effect flowing through the niche.  Fixtures include a rainfall shower head, body sprays, and adjustable hand-held sprayer on a slide bar.

Close-up of the lower shower area shows the floor tiled with river rock, a tiled seat, marble threshold, and a portion of the tempered glass shower enclosure.

 

Private commode area with wallpapered side walls and cedar plank accents on the rear wall and ceiling.

 

Large format floor tiles are accented by a single row of glass tile, creating a carpet effect near the bathtub.

Custom vanity with stone top and integrated sinks "floats" above the floor.  Indirect lighting beneath this vanity adds a warm accent to this master bathroom.
